Our world is different after COVID-19. We need leaders, not partisan politics. Reopening our economy and our schools in a proactive way requires leadership, experience, and an ability to work with leaders on both sides of the aisle.

 

Health systems have been financially decimated by prolonged statewide closures, and now we are furloughing nurses and doctors, thereby putting vulnerable populations at risk. We need a physician from the front lines who understands how COVID-19 testing can be used to safely reopen our hospitals, schools, and economy so all Washingtonians can thrive.

I live in Sammamish and work as an Emergency Physician caring for sick and injured patients at Covington Medical Center, Tacoma General Hospital, and Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.  I'm a father to a 6th grade student at Pine Lake Middle School and a 3rd grade student at Discovery Elementary School.
